A common perception in the global marketplace is that it has never been easier to find work abroad, especially in IT. The international surge in computing and the Internet, the dominance of IT companies and the transferable nature of IT skills promise a world of exciting opportunities. The only questions - what clothes do I pack and how do I spend all that money? Right?
Unlikely. It is rarely this easy unless you are part of a company relocation or were born under a lucky star. However, fantastic opportunities are available abroad but to find them, the one thing you will definitely need is steely determination. It can be confusing, frustrating and highly complicated to relocate but I've always been one for the bad news first.
Working abroad can be a fantastic experience, for many, the best thing they've ever done. To ensure this you must know what you are getting into and I hope the following tips will point you in the right direction.
